(SORRY! THIS HAS BEEN SOLD) I faceted this very clear, light colored, Smoky Quartz crystal. Because of it’s large size I chose a variation of the “Standard Round Brilliant”. The variation is much more labor to cut and polish the many more facets. The standard has 73 facets. This variation has 97 facets. The more facets the more scintillation (as seen in picture) and is a way of scaling the number of facets for larger stones. The stone finished at 12.3mm and 6.6 carats. The ring is size 7.
