This is a very nice Oregon Sun Stone that I cut in Jeff Graham's "Long John Pod" Design . This neat modified rectangle checker Board gem is 8.7X5.4 and weighs 1.2 carats. Sun Stone measures 6 on the Moh's hardness scale. It is not recommended for use in rings or bracelets unless the stone is set in a setting designed to protect it from damage. This stone will work well in any other piece of jewelry without fear of it being damaged. This stone will fit a 9X6mm side prong rectangle setting.
