This is a very nice Amethyst that I cut in Jeff Graham's "Easy Emerald" Design. This gem is 9X6mm and weighs 1.8 carats. Amethyst is a member of the quartz family and measures 7 on the Moh's hardness scale. It can be set in rings, bracelets or any piece of jewelry without fear of it being damaged. This stone will fit any standard 9X7mm rectangle setting.
