This is a excellent Rose D'France Amethyst that I cut in Jeff Graham's "Near P" Design. This gem is 9X6.5X5.2mm and weighs 1.5 carats. Amethyst is a member of the quartz family and measures 7 on the Moh's hardness scale. It can be set in rings, bracelets or any piece of jewelry without fear of it being damaged. This stone will fit a standard 9X7mm oval setting.
