This is a very nice Amethyst that I cut in Nancy Attaway's "Emerald Glitter" Design. This gem is 11.5X8.9X7.3mm and weighs 4.5 carats. Amethyst is a member of the quartz family and measures 7 on the Moh's hardness scale. It can be set in rings, bracelets or any piece of jewelry without fear of it being damaged. This stone will fit a deep 11X9mm rectangle setting.
